I belong to a book club and we recently read Afterimage by Helen Humphreys. I decided to blog about it because the author of the novel was inspired by the work of Julia Margaret Cameron, a Victorian photographer; and I, in turn, was inspired by the novel to create some art. So, we decided to hold the book club meeting in the Wild Orchid Studio and had a mini photo session at the end of it all.
