Yesterday we met up with Janelle and Steve to shoot their engagement portraits at Guildwood Park. They had two very different outfits- one all white and the other traditional African attire. We had a lot of fun with the shoot and really enjoyed working with them.

Shauna and Bensy had a wedding to go to last Saturday so they figured that they should get maximum usage of being all dolled up and decided to do their engagement shoot on the same day. We loved the colourful Indian attire that they wore especially since they decided to team it up with what is quickly becoming our favourite wall- the nail sculpture at Toronto City Hall. We also walked around University Avenue and Osgoode Hall and are very happy with the outcome.

Ye and Jack had a small, intimate wedding at Fantasy Farm. When we first arrived and were supposed to do family portraits on the grounds, it started to rain. It frightened us, but luckily the rain stopped just in time for the ceremony and provided Ye and Jack with gorgeous weather after all.

Stephanie and Daniel got married at the beautiful Royal Ambassador. They had an outdoor ceremony in a gazebo by the water and then a stunning reception inside the hall.

Yiola and Suchart have shared many milestones with us. We first followed Suchart and Team Canada to Thailand for the World Amateur Muay Thai Championship Tournament (View the photos part 1, part 2 and part 3). We were there to document Yiola and Suchart’s wedding and were later there to photograph their newborn baby girl when she was only ten days old. This time, we met them and Suchart’s two older children at Ashbridge’s Bay for their first family portraits with the new baby.

When we asked Sandra and Miloš what type of setting they were interested in for their engagement shoot, they said that they would like it to be reminiscent of Cuba- a colourful, beautifully run down, sort of place that is full of raw character. Michelle and Matthew threw a wonderful wedding full of personality. Michelle is the wedding cake designer of Dorio Bakery and did almost all the wedding day designing as well. The reception was held in her parent’s back yard, the decor and theme were all Michelle’s doing and to top it all off, Dorio Bakery catered the entire event.
